The Cardinal Takes a Bride
By Ian Hoskins

Former promoter Ian Hoskins is an award winning writer and his latest novel "The Cardinal Takes a Bride" is now available. The following is a synopsis of the book.

Upon his retirement from Scotland Yard, Inspector Bill Dixon embarks on a Mediterranean cruise aboard one of the less expensive Italian liners departing from Southampton. He is looking forward to some well deserved rest and recreation despite the irksome news of yet another successful theft perpetrated by the elusive thief only known to the police as the "Cardinal". For twenty years Dixon has tried to unmask this master criminal. Although he believed that he knew the Cardinal's true identity he failed to amass the necessary evidence to support a conviction. However, fate is about to give Dixon another chance because unbeknown to him the Cardinal is a fellow passenger.

When Diana steps aboard the ship Isola di Capri she is looking forward to a relaxing cruise. However, she catches the eye of the Cardinal, a passionate man with a dark secret who sweeps her into a world of intrigue. Trapped onboard Diana finds herself pursued by his nemesis, Police Inspector Dixon and dodging an assassin who finds killing pleasurable. As her life unravels, Diana cannot help but be drawn to the man who started it all. But as she solves the puzzle of who the Cardinal really is, she has to face her greatest adventure of all.
