The Ekka

There are fifteen weeks to go until the Ekka Legends 2013 function at the home of famous Davies Park Speedway.

[Southern Suburbs Rugby Club, Davies Park West End, Brisbane, QLD]

The event is on Saturday June 15 from 6.00pm to midnight and ticket sales are brisk.

Already some well known speedway names have indicated their attendance. Guest speakers include Bert Kingston, Denyse Butcher, Barrie Watt and Bill Sewell. The Hunting family will give a professional presentation of their grandfather's role in speedway history.

There will also be Interviews, rafflee, audio visuals, two historical displays, collectors items and a vintage bike.

The night is compered by John J D Daley of radio fame. This is a fully catered function hot and cold buffet. there is a cash bar available.

The evening is being held In aid of Freemasons Leukemia Foundation
