Dream Team : glen mills

followed sheffield tigers from 1969 -1978 when i emigrated to australia...so all my riders are from that period obviously...rather than go for local riders i decided to pick ones from visiting teams there were so many greats.....

NielsenKennett

ivan mauger
easily the greatest of all time we loved to hate him but he was fantastic to watch...actually met him at a race meeting in melbourne a real nice guy

ole olsen
unbeatable when at his best...put denmark on the map lol

peter collins
a real star for belle vue...good old fashioned northern grit with a bit of flair too

tommy jansson
was a great up and coming young guy who was just making his mark on the world scene when tragedy took away his life...sadly missed

john louis
always seemed to ride well at owlerton a classy rider and good to see in full flight

barry briggs
was late on in his career but still a legend of the track

phil crump
another quality rider who was world class always a danger to us when he was in town
