Bill Elliot:"Love the pictures of the foreign tracks, especially those of the Aussie circuits. I can remember going on 40 years ago reading
in the Speedway Star about the solos and the GB v Australia test matches during the dark winter months and trying to picture what these tracks looked like, and all these years
later, courtesy of Speedway Plus and its contributors, I'm finally getting that opportunity. Keep up the brilliant work!"
Peter Hunter:"Gillman has only been in operation since 1998 but is regarded as the
best Motorcycle speedway in Australia. 295m in length and able to accomodate 8,000 fans, it gets an AirFence from 2011/12 and since 2006 has also had a 111m junior
track on the infield. "
Kev Foster:"Re- aussie race tracks, can anyone tell me why there are no GB v Aussie test matches like back in the Peter Collins days? It was great to look in the Speedway Star to see what was going on, old man Crumpy, John Titman, Ron Hendo Henderson etc."
Duncan Pemberton:"Lucky enough to be in Adelaide in December when the South Australian solo meeting is on at Gillman, so thanks for the intro, can't wait to see it in flesh. "
