Dream Team: James Jessop

15 years old and have been obsessed with speedway for 10 years of it. I'm a massive speedway enthusiast and would love for speedway to return to the classic era, where we had crowds that could rival football matches. I support the mighty Aces and have since 2005 when I got into the sport. The first meeting I went to was Swindon v Oxford Silver Machine in May 2005. I also have a bike of my own and train at Scunthorpe.

Carter Hamill

Jason Crump
A Belle Vue legend. The first time I heard of speedway was watching a meeting on sky, Belle Vue v Oxford and I remember watching Crump win heat 4 by miles and celebrating with a doughnut. I just loved him from then onward and he went on to win his first world title that year. Had it not been for that race I wouldn't have wanted to go to a meeting.

Billy Hamill
The first meeting I went to was Swindon v Oxford. Billy Hamil was Oxfords No.1 and was doing pretty standard. But in his third ride he had a bad crash where a Swindon rider ran over his head. He was taken to hospital that night but returned to racing shortly afterwards and for that I applaud him as it was a devastating crash.

Tai Woffinden
Back in 2006, I was watching a Swindon meeting, as it was my local club at the time, and there was a 2nd half meeting Swindon Young Robins or something against Wolves. The number 2 for Wolves was a rider called Tai Woffinden who struggled to a score of 1 point from 3 rides. I remember saying to my Dad, he won't get anywhere in his career. Well, weren't we wrong.

Lee Richardson
Well what can I say about the late Lee Richardson. At Swindon he had a habit of either winning the race of falling off. But he was always stylish and classy on the bike. A couple of GP years on him and world cup finals. There was no doubt Lee was a fantastic talent who had yet to reach his potential.

Robert Lambert
I was present at the Tomas Topinka farewell meeting at Kings Lynn when a young rider did some practice laps in the interval and was 0.8 seconds off the TR. It turned out he had a puncture on his last lap when he crossed the line. It was GB star Robert Lambert, who will no doubt be in the GP's in years to come.

Wayne Carter
Although I have never seen him win a race, he has taught me a lot about how to ride a speedway bike at Scunthorpe and given me the best advice. I have only ridden a bike 4 times and impressed him. He said I've got it so hopefully now I have my own and can start racing regularly, I can make it into the big leagues and give something back.

Craig Cook
A Belle Vue star who will make it into the G P's soon enough. He has been flawless this season and always does well when I see him at KL and Leicester. Great style and did fantastic in his opening ride at Cardiff to set the TR in the British GP 2015!
